Effective ways to strengthen cooperation between Italy and Azerbaijan

There are 46 Italian companies participating in the exhibition, representing different regions of Italy. They operate in various sectors related to the construction industry. I have only just arrived today, so I haven't had the opportunity to speak with all the participants yet, but I can say that there is considerable interest in the exhibition. For most of these companies, this is their first visit to Azerbaijan. They are here to gain a better understanding of the local market, identify its needs, and determine whether their products meet the demands of Azerbaijani customers.
Azerbaijan and Italy have been cooperating in various sectors for many years, including construction. One example is DBA, an engineering company that has been operating in Azerbaijan for the past ten years. Its representatives have extensive experience in the local market and understand the specifics of doing business in Azerbaijan and working with Azerbaijani partners.
During the exhibition, the participating companies have established numerous contacts. However, the next step is to develop these connections, strengthen relationships, and determine whether there is genuine mutual interest that could lead to concrete projects. Sometimes, participating in an exhibition for the first time is primarily an opportunity to get acquainted with the market and establish initial contacts. After that, companies can assess the prospects for further cooperation. Perhaps we will see tangible results as early as next year.
We are partners of this exhibition and are representing the Italian pavilion. I believe that the exhibitions and events held as part of Caspian Construction Week are very important, as they provide an opportunity to meet and communicate directly with representatives of various companies, gain a better understanding of the local market, and learn more about how business is conducted in the country. These meetings also help us recognize differences in business approaches, understand how professional relationships are built, and identify the most effective ways to strengthen cooperation between Italy and Azerbaijan.
