Faridun Abdualimov, Director, Consolidated Information and Analytical Department, Association of Electrical Industry Enterprises of Uzbekistan

The Uzbekistan electrical industry today brings together over 620 enterprises, with core dimensions being cables, conductors, electrical equipment, home appliances, and power units. Starting from 2020, our country has seen a rapid development of the renewable energy sector (solar panels, wind power plants). There are over 90 member companies in the Association itself.

As BakuBuild participants, we are presenting home appliances, copper cables, tubes and fittings, solar batteries, motors of various ratings, lighting and installation equipment, and electrical installation products of Uzbekistan origin.

It has been the fourth time we have taken part in this exhibition, and we have achieved a good volume of arrangements and found new partners.

Our products are in high demand and are sold in the Azerbaijani market under the brandnames Artel, Uzkabel, Artikul Aziya Kabel, Dusel, Sharq Tubes, ICG. We enjoy numerous projects thanks to well-established bilateral links between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan; for instance, joint production of home appliances is expected to be launched by 2025. Azerbaijan is a nation of strategic importance for both Uzbekistan and the rest of Central Asia as it connects Asia to Europe and enables us to access other countries' markets.
