-Three Ukrainian companies are participating in Medinex 2025. I represent Farmak, which produces around 300 types of medicinal products, and each year we introduce approximately 20 new medicines to the market. For us, participating in this exhibition is an excellent opportunity to showcase our achievements and present them to professionals in Azerbaijan.
Also represented here is Biopharma, which is already known in Azerbaijan thanks to its product “Albumin”. This year, they are launching an entirely new medicine, which demonstrates the dynamic development and innovative nature of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical industry.
Another company is Formarmet, a manufacturer of portable X-ray equipment. This is a highly innovative product that, I am sure, will be of great interest to medical specialists and clinics in Azerbaijan. Having the opportunity to see such developments in person is always impressive, and we are pleased to present them to a wider audience.
We are participating in the exhibition to expand Farmak’s presence in the Azerbaijani market. We aim to make our medicines more accessible and strengthen cooperation with local distributors. We hope that the exhibition will help us establish new partnership relations and create opportunities for joint projects.
In addition, a conference with the participation of the Minister of Health of Ukraine was recently held. The discussions focused on the prospects of mutual recognition of medicinal products, strengthening cooperation and exchanging experience in the pharmaceutical field. This is particularly important for us, as international recognition of the quality of Farmak’s products opens new horizons for export. There is also a practical issue that we are discussing with Azerbaijani partners — price regulation. Due to our products being placed in the third price category, distributors are currently unable to purchase Farmak medicines, despite their successful presence on the European market. We hope that our innovative medicines will soon become accessible to a wide range of consumers.
The Medinex exhibition has given us a wonderful opportunity not only to showcase our products, but also to establish direct communication, discuss development prospects and exchange experience. For us, this is an important step in strengthening Ukrainian–Azerbaijani relations in the pharmaceutical sector. I am confident that taking part in such events helps not only to present products, but also to demonstrate the high level of expertise of Ukrainian specialists, as well as their commitment to innovation and quality. I believe that each meeting here provides an opportunity to discuss new ideas, understand market needs, and offer solutions that will benefit both professionals and patients.
We are proud that we can present not only medicines, but also comprehensive innovative approaches to treatment and diagnostics. And, of course, participating in the exhibition is also a chance to gain inspiration from the experience of other participants, learn industry trends, and discuss future cooperation.
