The Caspian Region’s largest building exhibition, BakuBuild 2016, the 22nd Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition, will open its doors on 19 October at Baku Expo Centre. BakuBuild is the most important trade event in the region for building and architecture, and design and renovations. Every year, professionals from a range of different countries attend the exhibition to find business partners. Start of BakuBuild 2016 will mark the beginning of Caspian Construction Week, comprising of Aquatherm Baku 2016 and Securika CIPS 2016 exhibitions.
This year Caspian Construction Week gathers 298 companies from 26 countries and occupies 2 pavilions and Lobby of the Baku Expo Center. Iran, Italy and the UAE will have national display booths, and Turkey will host a large stand as well. Azerbaijani companies will make up 50% of exhibitors. The Sponsors of BakuBuild 2016 are Corella (NB Group), and Akkord Cement, and the media partner of the exhibition is the trade magazine “House and Interior” (“Dom i Interyer”).
BakuBuild 2016 will cover a full range of building materials, ceramics, finishing stone, marble, paints, windows and doors, interior, roofing and flooring, metal and bronze works, construction machinery and others. At a special outdoor area of the Baku Expo Center adjacent to the complex, the latest construction equipment will be showcased.
“FURNITURE” SECTOR
This year, furniture companies from Azerbaijan, Italy, Ukraine and other countries will take an active part in the exhibition. Companies will present a wide range of high-end designer furniture.
INNOVATIONS
BakuBuild is one of the most established channels for bringing innovative goods and services onto the country’s building market. С 19 по 22 октября в Баку Экспо Центре пройдет 9th International Exhibition for Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary, Environmental Technology, Swimming Pool and Renewable Energies Aquatherm Baku 2016. Over the years the exhibition has proved to be a perfect venue for HVAC industry experts to come together for the establishment of new partnerships, the signing of mutually advantageous contracts and the promotion of business in the Caspian and Caucasian markets, and thousands of industry stakeholders take part in this exhibition annually.
This year the exhibition will host 60 companies from Azerbaijan, Finland, Germany, Italy, and Russia, with a number of Turkish companies also taking part. The newcomers of Aquatherm Baku 2016 are EGIC from Egypt and AKFA Group of Companies from Uzbekistan. Aquaterm Baku 2016 will feature ventilation and sewage systems, fire hydrants, valves, combi boilers, heating systems, pipes, fittings, radiators, boilers and pumps, as well as pumping stations, water heaters and PE, PPRC and PVC welding equipment just to name a few.
As is tradition, the exhibition will showcase the best new products and innovations from the various industries. 9th Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition
Securika CIPS 2016, the 9th Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition, the region’s only international trade exhibition on security, will take place from 19-22 October at Baku Expo Center in Azerbaijan. Securika CIPS 2016 is a recognised business platform where exhibitors get the opportunity to establish valuable contacts with professionals in the security field to further develop business. The exhibition also creates ideal conditions for developing the industry and reaching important strategic agreements.
This year, 16 exhibitors at Securika CIPS 2016, including companies from Azerbaijan, China, Russia, Turkey, and the USA, will present security technologies, video surveillance CCTV, rescue equipment, information security, smart cards, ID-technology, turnstiles, access control systems and integrated security systems. In the fire safety systems sector, visitors will be presented with well-known fire safety systems, fire and burglar alarms, fire cameras, fire sensors and detectors, special fire-fighting equipment and much more.
Traditionally, the exhibition will showcase industry trends. This year, the presentation of a series of innovative products will also include: “Arma Kontrol” – an automatic bollard designed to prevent terrorist attacks and is capable of disabling vehicles; Elide “Fire ball” – an explosion-fire prevention system that engages within 3 seconds of exposure to fire. It uses the HI-FOG water mist extinguishing system and it can be used both on land and at sea. Its unique advantage is that it uses dramatically less water than traditional fire suppression systems.
This year, the Securika CIPS exhibition will present for the first time since its rebranding. In 2017, as a result of this rebranding, the exhibition will come to be known as Securika Caspian, modelled on other international exhibitions, and it will be included in the safety exhibitions segment of ITE Group plc.
CASPIAN CONSTRUCTION WEEK BUSINESS PROGRAMME
BakuBuild will coincide with the Anglo-Azerbaijani Society charity dinner, which will take place at the Four Seasons hotel. As is tradition, a charity auction will take place at the dinner. The organisers of BakuBuild will be one of the sponsors of the evening.
The multi-sector Azerbaijan-Dubai Business Forum will take place on 20 October at the Fairmont Baku hotel. Participants of Caspian Construction Week 2016 will take part in the event.
As part of AquaTherm Baku 2016, the seminar-presentation ‘Designing ОВ and ВК systems with liNear: drafting and determining new opportunities for professionals’ will take place on 20 October at Baku Expo Centre (room 19). The seminar will be open to all.
